Alaska World Milk Day Run on June 9, 2013
by Cheryl Golangco on May 13th, 2013
Got milk? Ever since we were young, our parents have already taught us the importance of milk, but as we grow up, we tend to neglect this need. The worse part about this that even kids are beginning to dislike milk, and we all know how growing kids need milk.
Nutrition disorders such as malnutrition and obesity are particularly rampant with children. They interfere with the child’s grown and development which could lead to serious heal...

Robinson’s Fit and Fun Buddy Run 2013
by Cheryl Golangco on May 3rd, 2013
There are two reasons I always join the Robinson's Fit and Fun Buddy Run.... ONE is the opportunity to run with a partner! In my case, it's with my fiance Philippe. He doesn't exactly enjoy running, he's much more into boxing but he always agrees to join this run with me. Personally, I feel that the Fit and Fun Buddy Run doesn't feel competitive, it emphasizes more on the importance of camaraderie. My 2nd reason for never missing this run, is t...

Run Against Cancer Results and Discussions
by Cheryl Golangco on Apr 27th, 2013
I love running and I most especially love running for a cause. About a month ago, a friend informed me about a fun run called “Run against Cancer” which was being organized for the benefit of indigent cancer patients. I knew I couldn’t miss out on this opportunity.
Amidst security jitters following the Boston Marathon bombing, Run Against Cancer charity run successfully pushed through as planned on April 20, 2013 at the Bonifac...

Outbreak BGC 2: Confessions of the Zombie Lady
by Cheryl Golangco on Apr 27th, 2013
I have been joining the Outbreak ever since its first run in Nuvali last year. I’ve experienced running away from zombies, and I’ve experience just walking around as part of the media team. This time however, I was given the opportunity to see things from a different end, or should I say, from a different life.
I always had fun seeing the different zombies during the runs. When I joined the first time, I remember coming up with diffe...

Takbo.ph Runfest 2013: 5th Anniversary Run
by Cheryl Golangco on Apr 21st, 2013
Ever since their first run back in 2010, I have always anticipated Takbo.ph’s next anniversary run! I found it to be an extremely fun run simply because of the aura exuded that day. Top it off with the personalized singlets and banderitas with every runner’s name hanging right after the finish line, it was awesome! Their succeeding run became a little bit simpler but was still equally fun and enjoyable. I remember host Dj Chloe from Mellow 94...

by Cheryl Golangco on Apr 20th, 2013
Have you been waiting a while for news on another Energizer Night Race? I know I have! The last night race Energizer held back in 2011 was a lot of fun! The head lights also came in very handy and the sudden downpour of rain made the race even more exciting.

Discover the Trails in Filinvest: The City Doesn’t Get Greener than this!
by Cheryl Golangco on Apr 19th, 2013
Last April 13, a group of running bloggers including myself were invited for a trail run at Filinvest City near Alabang. I’ve never tried trail running but vave always been curious to so I thought this would be a great chance to start. Question was, where were the trails in Filinvest? I’ve never seriously explored Filinvest but I’ve always thought of it as a business district or residential area. I never knew there were trails!
So Ph...
