I’m not sure when they held the first McHappy Day Stripes Run, but I do remember how it was one of the first family runs I heard off when I started running back in the year 2000. It was one of the runs whole families would look forward to because of the fun colors and of course, who could resist McDonald’s? This year, the team is back and are once again giving you a special and cute fun run for a cause! Time to put down those gadgets and go out and play with the whole family!

Family isn’t always blood. It’s the people in your life who want you in theirs; the ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile & who LOVE YOU no matter what. Picture taken last May 2014 at SM City Marikina while watching the Arnis Philippine National Games. We may not have it all together, but together we have it all. #McHappyDayStripesRun Little Running Teacher

Happiness is not something in our hands. It’s something we carry in our hearts.
Together with these kiddos, we surely spend time laughing and telling stories.
Their curiosity is just amazing! #McHappyDayStripesRun Little Running Teacher

This is how Familia Romero rock the road. Every year we joined at least twice on a race that gives us the ultimate bonding. My nephew who were still young used to ask me why I liked Fun Run. With that I bring him at the event and he thought while we were running on the road that things like this is full of Fun.

With this I would like to share the link of our participation. Familia Romero will conquer this year Macdo Run. Aja Aja Fighting.

Though it’s really hard to wake up early during weekends because of the very tiring weekday work schedule, we make it a point to go out every Saturday or Sunday to jog, play and dance either in Luneta, CCP or the MOA grounds. Words cannot describe how happy my daughter and her cousins were whenever they go out biking and running in the park. My wife would normally join the group of ladies dancing zumba while I do a 30-minute to 1 hour jog around. Of course our morning would not be complete without visiting our favorite Mc Donalds stores either in Kalaw (near Luneta), Harrison (near CCP) or in Blue Wave (near MOA) to enjoy the hot and delicious McDo breakfast meals with me reading the newspaper, my wife sipping her favorite Mcdo coffee and my daughter and her cousins playing with their new Mc Do Happy Meal toys.

Every weekend, our family makes it a point to have bonding time. We usually engage in bonding activity either going out of town or going for a jog outdoors. After an early morning workout, this is followed by Breakfast at the nearest McDonalds. We look forward in joining the #McDonaldsHappyDayStripesRun on December 6 for another fun filled family bonding time.

After a week of work, we spend weekend morning making laps around Ynares Center and doing some jumping jacks. Me and my wife used to run in different fun run and now that we have this “makulit” kid running with us… we want his first fun run be a really fun and memorable run! #McHappyDayStripesRun Little Running Teacher

Hi Teacher Cheryl, thanks for the information, we wanted to run the Family run but the children should be at least 2. So LL is going to run by herself her 1st 1km.
I ve registered online and when I went to Fort Bonifacio Mc Donalds they didn’t have any bib available for the 1km so the manager said to pick it up on the day itself… Plus the stripes socks are adults one, is it normal? Do you know the runners have to wear the socks for the run? thanks sabrina

Hi Mommy Sab, that’s great! I can’t wait to see her! :) She can just wear regular socks if that’s the case :)
