Hope Christian High School Brings You: “Run for Our Hope”

Another private school sets up yet another fun run, and this time it comes from no other than Hope Christian High School. The fun run was organized in hopes that proceeds from this event will help raise funds for the Hope Christian High School Scholarship Program.

Education is a valuable thing. We’re lucky to have it… so what do you say we share it too?

What: Run for Our Hope

When: November 5, 2011, Saturday

Where: SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City

Race Categories and Registration Fees:

  • 10K Run  P700.00
  • 5K Run P500.00
  • 3K Run P300.00
  • 1K Run – Senior P300.00
  • 500 Meter Dash – Kids P300.00

Gun start:

10K Run (5:15 am) / 5K Run (5:30 am) / 3K Run (5:45 am) / 1K Run for Seniors and 500 Meter Dash for Kids (6:00 am)

Registration Fee is inclusive of singlet, rfid and finishers kit

Singlet design:

Cause: Proceeds will go to the beneficiaries of the Hope Christian High School (HCHS) Scholarship Program.

  • REGISTRATION PERIOD is from Sept 15 to October 22, 2011
  • CLAIMING OF RACE KITS is on October 15, 2011

RACE NUMBER

  • The race number is non-transferable and must be securely pinned in front of the shirt during the race at all times.
  • Runners should have their number marked and recorded by an official checker. This will be proof that the runner started at the designated starting point.


CHRONOTRACK SYSTEM

  • Runners should ensure that the “D-Tag” is properly attached to the shoes and must pass through the “Strider Timing Mat” which will be stationed at the starting line, finish line, and key turn around points of the race route.
  • NO TAG, NO READER, NO TIME, NO AWARD.


RACE ROUTE

  • Runners should familiarize themselves with the race route provided inside the Runner’s Kit. There will also be an enlarged race route on site.
  • Race route may change on race day as the organizers deem necessary. Measures shall be taken to inform runners of such changes.
  • The event curfew hours is 3 hours after the start of the race. Sweep vehicle will pick up runners along the route. Participants who wish not to be picked up must run/walk on the foot path at their own risk.


WATER / AID STATIONS

  • Drinking water will be provided at key points along the race routes. Kindly orderly dispose the cups at the designated receptacles.
  • Medical teams will be stationed at the finish line and will be roving along the race routes. (Consult the Medical Team on any problem requiring immediate attention)


FINISH LINE

  • All finishers will receive a Certificate of Participation and a Finisher’s Kit. Claim it from the processing officials by presenting your race Bib.
  • All winners must be physically present to receive the award.


OFFICIAL RESULTS

  • Verbal protests will not be entertained. All protests must be submitted in writing within 30 minutes after the end of the race.
  • The organizer’s decision is final.
  • Official results of the race will be posted at www.hchs.edu.ph as soon as they are available.
