This is one run you wouldn’t want to miss out on! Not only do runners get to contribute in rehabilitating the Pasig River, but you also get a chance to be part of history! Together we will attempt to break the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for the LARGEST ECO-FOOT RACE in the world!!!! Now isn’t that exciting? But wait there’s more! (said in the tone of home tv shopping networks)….

.
For the first time in the Philippine history of running… well for me at least since I just started running… anyways, there will be different starting points for the different race categories! The 3 categories will be 3km, 5km and 10km. The race routes will all merge however at the SM Mall of Asia. When I first found out about this, I wondered how they’d make that work! Different starting points meant several closed roads, right? I hope I don’t need to play Patintero (a Filipino game wherein one player tries to block the other from crossing the line) with the cars again! PLUS, there’s still MORE!!!

.

You get to ADOPT A RUNNER! How does this work? Simple, you just pay for the registration fee, and one less fortunate child will be given the race bib! Now wouldn’t that be great??

.

The race cost 100 pesos for students and 250 pesos for the others. It’s not too expensive because there will be NO SINGLET provided. The organizers decided on this in order to be able to give more for the rehabilitation of Pasig River.

The starting points are as follows:

3km – SM Mall of Asia

5km – CCP Complex

10km – Makati

There are several places wherein you may register… Click the photo below for more info.
