So every year in the world of blogging, 10 blogs are recognized for the impact they have made on their readers. This features blog written from March 2009 to the present date.

Now, I’ve just started blogging and most of the blogs I’ve read have been around since 2008. Still, there are some new blogs that I think should be recognized for a job well done and the help they’ve given people like me in finding just the right stuff!

If you have a blog, please also do nominate and vote for your blog of choice.

My Top 10 Emerging Blogs for 2010

  • WhenInManila.com – It’s a fun and informative video blog that highlights a variety of things you can do in the metro.. or rather in the Philippines! Ranging from food, to sports, to concerts and events! It’s the perfect site to visit if you’re looking for something to do on the weekend, whether it be to party or just relax!
  • TekTokTV.com – Watch the show and read the blog! Want the latest news on upcoming gadgets and cool websites? Then this is the site to visit! It shares the various technology trends and gadgets out there today.
  • SexAndSensiblities.com – Sex has been around since the beginning of time and yet people are still afraid or ashamed to talk about it. (Especially in the Philippines) Though I agree that young children should not yet know too much about this topic, I also think that for those who do know, it is important to understand it! The best thing this site talks about is the dangers and risks of not having safe sex. It answers questions many teenage girls (and even boys) are afraid to ask but need to know.
  • FoodieManila.com – Sick of the usual food chains around your area? Trying to look for something new and unique? Then you’ve come to the right place! It’s one man’s (and well, probably his team) search for food nirvana! Check out all the different and unique restaurants which most of us don’t even notice! One of the best food blogs around!
  • KikayRunner.com – I love to run and so does this blogger! Her blog talks all about her love for running. It’s really fun to read because she doesn’t get too technical with the running terms but instead just shares her experience!
  • ArtOfChangeMaking.com – Everyone dreams of change but no one does anything about it. We’re so good in pointing fingers that we fail to reflect on our own actions. Here, one woman shares the same passion of change, but instead of pointing fingers, she starts with herself.
  • Jay-elx.blogspot.com – Want to watch a movie but not sure if it’s good enough? Check out some reviews here
  • ManilaShopaholic.com – One of the best blogs to visit if you’re looking for an upcoming sale or shopping event! C’mon girls!
  • BoardsAndMags.blogspot.com – a billboard and magazine cover blog! I’m not much into magazine reading but I do like to browse the covers from time to time!
  • FitAndPink.com – I love running and enjoy reading fellow runners blog! One girl tells her short and honest tales of her different running adventures!

This event was made possible thanks to the following sponsors: Events and Corporate Video, Budget hotel in Makati, Pinoy Party Food, Copyediting Services, PR Agency Philippines, Budget Travel Philippines, Send Gifts to the Philippines, Black Friday Deals, Roomrent – units for rent, Search Profile Index, and Corporate Events Organizer.

Goodluck Bloggers! :)
