When the last day of school rolled in, my co-teachers and I tried to think of something fun the kids could do to commemorate their first year in preschool! I thought of so many wonderful ideas, only, they required a pre-activity which the child should have done at the beginning of the school year! :( Now what? I almost gave up and resorted to just letting the kids draw something about school, when on the very last minute, we decided to funk up their drawings by making beautiful frames!

What you will need

  • Popsicle sticks
  • Child’s Drawing
  • Yarn
  • Cut-outs or print outs to be used as decor

Step 1: Let the child draw what he/she likes to do in school

Step 2: Create the frame by pasting popsicle sticks together. The yarn was pasted between the sticks and the paper

Step 3: Let the child bring it home and hang on their walls!
