If you’re looking for an event to experience your first fun run, you can never go wrong with one of Color Manila’s awesome runs! As the name says so… it’s a COLOR RUN! No pressure, no time, just plain and simple fun! Regardless how many times I’ve joined their fun runs, I still can’t seem to get enough of it and still enjoy every single time.

Last May 16, Color Manila COLORED the streets of Filinvest with the first ever Color Manila BLACKLIGHT Run! It was a run like no other as runners were literally glowing during the race!

Runners eager to begin at the starting line

Besides the glowing powder, runners were also given blue headlights. It was really a sight to see!

Thanks to KB of Photo-ops for this photo of us along the route! Despite the darkness, we got a pretty good photo!

There were about 5 different areas were UV powder was thrown at runners. The powder was lighter than usual so you wouldn’t notice it at first. In fact, I thought I was able to finish the race clean! However, upon arrival at the events area, that’s when you’ll see the runners literally GLOW!

It was so much fun seeing everyone just glowing in whenever they approached the black light! Organizers also made sure to make it fun by turning it into a party with cool hosts and fun games for everyone to enjoy in!

Kudos also to their partner photographers, Photo-Ops! I always LOVE their photos! They’re always able to capture the runner’s best angles with or without post processing – definitely a very talented group of photographers!  If you missed last week’s colorful run, you’ve still got 2 more chances to participate as they bring the colorful run to Cebu and Davao!
