WOW WOW WOW!! First and foremost, CONGRATULATIONS to all the runners who completed the farthest distances in the 3 legs of the Run United Trilogy last 2011!  I wonder when I’ll be able to do that?

Runners who completed the trilogy were all given a loyalty shirt from RunRio, I was proud to be one of the recipients. On the other hand, runners who completed the 21k/21k/32k distances respectively in all three races were invited to the RunRio Trilogy Awards Night last Feb. 20, 2012 at Decagon in Silver City. Though I was not an awardee, I was invited as one of the bloggers at the event.

There were around 300 awardees that night, the oldest being a 67 yr. old man, and the youngest being Team Alpha One’s Marvin Jusay – the 21 yr. old with the need for speed! Names of the awardees were called from A-Z! Boy, were there A LOT!

Besides awarding finishers of the 3 legs, there were also around 4 intermission numbers. The Philippine All Stars, LED Dancers, UAAP Cheer Dancers and the Riovanna Management Team all performed to wow the audience that night!

After all had been awarded, special prizes were given to the youngest and oldest afroman finishers, as well as the best blogger award which belonged to Banjo Asiddao from ulikblogrunner.wordpress.com! Congrats Banjo!

Last but not least, CONGRATULATIONS to Rio Dela Cruz for another successful year for the RunUnited Trilogy!

So to all those who want to join this year’s awards night, go REGISTER for the first leg before it’s too late!
