“I believe in education. Everyone deserves education, everyone deserves to be able to study,” shares Mr. Piolo Pascual after asked why he began the SunPiology Run. For the past 6 years, Sun Life has been working with the ever dashing Piolo in hopes of raising funds as well as awareness for the scholars of the Hebreo 12:1 Foundation.
During the recently concluded presscon, Piolo also shared how the SunPiology Run isn’t about getting people to join Sun Life as some might perceive. In fact, when Sun Life approached Piolo 6 years ago, it wasn’t because they wanted him to help them, but because THEY wanted to help him and his foundation. The run is not for the interest of Sun Life but for the foundation. This year, the SunPiology runs introduces something new as they bring the 4 elements of nature together in one adventure-filled run! Check out the complete details below!
What: SunPiology Run: An Adventure-Filled Run with the Stars

*500m runners will not go through any obstacles, while 3k and 5k runners will only go through 3 obstacles. Only the 10k runners will get to experience all 4 obstacles.
Gun Start Times: 4:00pm, 5:20pm, 5:10pm, 5:00pm
*The 500m Kids’ Run will take place first so that parents can watch their kids during the run. Following this is the 10k run as it will take longer to complete than the shorter distances

The Hebreo 12:1 Foundation is a non-profit organization with education as its advocacy. Since 2008, it has helped send poor but deserving scholars to school for a more secure future. They are committed:

- to offer comfort, strength, peace, hope and serenity during difficult times brought about by calamities or hardships

Registration Fees and Race Inclusions:
Note: Additional P200 will be charged for race kit delivery: P150 delivery & processing fee & P50 web admin fee.
For online (credit card) registrants: complete race kit will be delivered, sizes will be available online on a first-come, first-served basis. Delivery of race kit will be on or before November 12, 2014.
For In-store registrants: Complete race kit will be given upon registration for actual runners. Singlet sizes will be on a first-come, first-served basis. No additional fees will be applied.
SunPiology Run: About the Run
Last year’s run filled the streets with color as colored powder was thrown at runners throughout the route. This year’s run however will be very different as Sun Life and Coach Rio use the 4 elements of nature to bring runners an adventure-filled sunset run!
The obstacles during the SunPiology Adventure Run are the:
- Garter Maze (representing fire)
- Grass Crawl (representing earth)
- Propeller Fans (representing air)
- Shower Mist (representing water)
*There will be enough medics in each station to ensure the safety of all runners
*500m runners will not go through any obstacles, while 3k and 5k runners will only go through 3 obstacles. Only the 10k runners will get to experience all 4 obstacles.
The event is expected to be star-studded with the participation of Piolo Pascual and his co-Star Magic artists namely Jane Oineza, Ynna Asistio, Francis Magundayao, Trina Legaspi, CJ Novato, Jovit Baldivino, Markki stroemm, Igiboy Flores, former PBB all in housemates Aina Solano, Axel Torres, Fifth Solomon, Fourth Solomon, Joshua Garcia, Loisa Andalio, Manolo Pedrosa, Maris Racal, Nichole Barranda, Vickie Rushton, Rayver Cruz, Ejay Falcon, Joem Bascon, Jessy Mendiola, Matteo Guidicelli and many more surprise guests.Moreover, after the race, runners can expect a short concert to cap off the night!
