While trying to come up with another craft activity, I remembered how the kids loved wearing all those funny and silly hats. We wanted them to make their own and tried to come up with a simple way to make one. We already tried paper folding (the one that can also be made into a boat) and eventually came up with this.

What you will need:

  • Newspaper
  • Tape
  • Glue
  • Cut outs or craft punch (for decorations)

What to do:

Step 1: Get some newspaper and put it on the child’s head to measure. Put some tape around the it.

Step 2: Roll the paper below the tape upward

Step 3: Decorate with random cut-outs

Step 4: Time for a fashion show!
