Personalized Door Hangers

It’s always fun to have cute door hangers hanging on our door knobs. But what makes it even better is if it were personalized and self-made! So that’s exactly what we did!

What you will need:

  • Alphabet stamps or letter cut-outs
  • Popsicle sticks
  • Craft punch/ Pompom balls
  • Paint
  • Glue
  • Yarn or ribbon
  • Construction paper or cardboard paper
  • Scissors

What to do:

Step 1: Using the alphabet stamps, I let the kiddos stamp their names unto the construction paper. They also used a variety of paint colors for this! It was a great way as well to practice writing their names

Step 2: Place a border of popsicle sticks around your names

Step 3: Since I only had 2 kids with me, I already cut the excess paper beyond the border, but for kids in a class, you can either do this BEFORE or AFTER their activity

Step 4: Decorate with pompom balls or craft punch

Step 5: Punch a hole at the back and insert a ribbon

Step 6: Let it dry and it’s ready to be displayed!
